What does gigBuddy track?

Visits and clicks on your linkBuddy band page and your release pages. You see views, estimated unique visitors, clicks per platform or link and click-through rate, by day, traffic source, device and country.

Does it use cookies?

No. Nothing is stored on the visitor's device and no IP addresses are kept. Unique visitors are estimated with a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to a person.

How far back can I look?

Statistics cover a rolling 30 days on Band Silver and 90 days on Band Gold.

Where do I find the numbers?

On your band dashboard in gigBuddy, next to your next gig and your tasks.

Do I need Google Analytics or another tool?

No. The statistics are built into linkBuddy. There is nothing to install or connect.

Can I see which campaign worked?

Yes. Add ?utm_source= with a name to the link in a post or mailing. The statistics then show views, clicks and click-through rate for each source.
