The Event tab holds the basic facts of a gig: date, times, status, description, the festival and venue, an event link and a map of the location. It is the tab a gig opens on. Field changes save automatically.
Open the Event tab
- Open Gigs from the side menu and select a gig. See Gig details.
- Select the Event tab in the bar below the banner.
Every member can read the tab. Contributor or higher can edit it for a gig of the active workspace. A gig of another band is read-only.
Band
In an artist profile, a Band field appears above the event fields when you have added bands under My bands. It sets the band the gig was played with, or No band. A gig with a band also shows your own fee on the Terms tab. The field is not shown in a band workspace.

The venue and festival come from the venues you keep in the app. Their contacts show on the Participants tab, and their address feeds the map below.
Location
When the venue has a city, the tab shows a map of the location under Location. When the gig has no venue with a city, it uses the festival. The app looks up the position of the address, then shows it on an OpenStreetMap map, so this needs an internet connection. The map zooms to street level when the venue has a street address and to city level when it has not. Open in maps opens the place in Google Maps in a new tab.
