Ledger lists the ledger transactions of the band or artist profile you are working in: everything that invoices, purchases, payments and journal entries have posted. From here you filter and search the list, import a bank statement and open a transaction in the detail view.
Open Ledger
- In the side menu, under Accounting, select Ledger.
The page heading reads Ledger transactions. The page is shown to a Financial admin or Admin, in a band and in an artist profile. It needs Finance & accounting (Band Gold, Artist Gold). On a plan without it the menu entry shows a diamond and an upgrade link. Records created earlier stay available to view.
What the page contains
The heading is followed by the number of transactions that match the filters, and the filter controls. Your filters, sort order, page and period are remembered for the session, so you return to the same view after opening a transaction.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search field (Search...) | Filters the list on the description, the note, the type, the receipt number and the transaction number. |
| Show voided | Includes voided transactions, shown dimmed. They are hidden by default. |
| Types button | Opens a menu with All and one checkbox per group: Purchases, Invoices, Payments and Journals. The button shows the current selection. |
| Period button | Chooses the period by transaction date: Month, Quarter, Fiscal Year, All Time or a Custom Range. Months and quarters that contain transactions are marked. |
| Import statement | Opens the bank statement import. See Import bank statement. |
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| # | The transaction number. Sortable. |
| Receipt | The receipt number, where the transaction has one. |
| Date | The transaction date. Sortable. |
| Type | What posted the transaction, for example an invoice or a purchase. |
| Description | A description of the transaction, or a dash. |
| Amount | The amount of the transaction. |
Select the same column heading again to reverse the sort order. The list starts with the newest transaction number first. It shows 25, 50 or 100 transactions per page (per page). On a phone each transaction is a card with its number, date, type, description and amount.
Select a transaction to open it in the ledger entry details.
Actions

| Select a transaction | List | Opens the transaction. |
Ledger entry details
A transaction opens on its own page with its lines, a details card and a note. Void, reverse, reclassify and copy to the journal are described in Ledger entry details.
