The Participants tab lists the band members who play the gig, with their answers, calendar availability and fee splits, and the contacts for the gig. Changes save immediately.
Open the Participants tab
- Open Gigs from the side menu and select a gig. See Gig details.
- Select the Participants tab in the bar below the banner.
The tab is shown for gigs of your own workspace, not for a gig of another band. Every member can read it. Contributor or higher can change participants, answers and contacts. Availability and fee splits are part of a band workspace.
Participants
Each participant has a coloured dot, their name and their position.
| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| Add participant | A search field with the band members who are not yet on the gig. Selecting a member adds them at once. Contributor or higher. |
| remove [name] | The cross button on a row. It is shown only while more than one participant remains. Contributor or higher. |
| Yes / No | The answer of the participant. Shown only for a gig with the status Option and a date that is not in the past. Contributor or higher can set the answer for every participant. A Reader sees the buttons disabled. |
Once a gig is Confirmed or Announced, or its date has passed, the answer buttons are no longer shown.
Availability
In a band, a chip beside each participant shows their calendar availability on the date of the gig: Available, Travel margin or Unavailable. A reason, when the member shared one, appears in a tooltip. Above the list, a line Band-wide shows the status that applies to the whole band, with its reason when there is one. This does not set an answer. See Availability.
Fee splits
For a Financial admin or Admin in a band, each participant shows a chip with their fee split, for example 50% · €688.50 or a fixed amount, and a button Split the fee for [name]. A split divides Due to artist, the amount that remains for the artist side on the Finance tab. See Gig terms, deal types and fees for how that amount is calculated. The dialog Fee split for [name] sets a split. Members without a split take nothing.
Contacts
The contacts for the gig sit next to the participants on a wide screen and below them on a narrow one.
| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| Contacts of the venue and festival | The contacts of the venue and festival chosen on the Event tab are listed first, each with a chip Venue or Festival. You cannot link or unlink them here. Change them on the venue or festival. |
| Linked contacts | Contacts you added to this gig. A row shows the category, the name with the email address and the phone number. |
| Add contact | A search field over your contacts. A name that does not exist offers + Create contact '[name]'. Contributor or higher. |
| Mark as primary | The star on a linked contact. One contact can be the primary contact; selecting the star on the primary contact (Primary contact - click to unset) clears it. Contributor or higher. |
| Open contact | Opens the contact. Pending field changes are saved first. |
| remove contact | Removes the contact from this gig. The contact itself stays. Contributor or higher. |
