My account holds your billing profile, your sign-in methods and passkeys, and the deletion of your workspace or account.
Open My account
- Open Settings.
- Under Account settings, select My account.
Available to every member, whatever their role. This is one of the items described in Account settings.
Your billing profile, your sign-in methods and the deletion of your account.
Billing profile
The name and address used on your subscription invoices, credit notes and receipts. Choose Save billing profile to store it.
| Field | What to enter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Customer name | The name on the invoice. | Required. |
| Street and house number | The street address. | Required. |
| Postcode, City | The postcode and city. | Required. The postcode must be a valid Dutch postcode. |
| Country | Netherlands | Platform billing currently supports the Netherlands only. |
| KVK number (optional) | Your Chamber of Commerce number. | Checked for a valid number when you save. |
| VAT ID (optional) | Your VAT number. | Checked for a valid Dutch VAT ID when you save. |
With Copy from financial profile you fill the fields from the band’s Financial profile (name, address, KVK and VAT numbers) and country. The button asks for confirmation, replaces what is in the fields and does not save; review the fields and choose Save billing profile. It is shown to a Financial admin or Admin when the plan includes Finance & accounting (Band Gold or Artist Gold).
Connected accounts
The sign-in methods linked to your account. You can sign in with any linked method. The list has a row for Google, Microsoft and Email. A linked row shows the address and a Linked chip, an unlinked row shows Not linked.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Link | Starts linking that method. See below. |
| Unlink | Removes the method after a confirmation. You can no longer sign in with it. Not available for your only method. |
Linking a method asks you to confirm it is you:
- Select Link on the row and then Continue. You sign in again with your current method.
- For Google or Microsoft, sign in with that account to finish. The message … account linked confirms it.
- For Email, the dialog Add email sign-in asks for the address (Email address) and sends a 6-digit code (Send code). Enter it under Code and choose Link. Send a new code is available after a short wait.
An account that signs in with email only first receives a code at that address (Confirm it’s you) before linking Google or Microsoft.
Passkeys
Passkeys let you sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your phone instead of an email code. The section is not shown in the gigBuddy Android app.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Add a passkey | Asks for a name (Name), then Create passkey. Your browser asks where to create it: this device, your phone or a security key. |
| Remove | Removes the passkey from gigBuddy. The device may still list it; delete it there too. |
Each passkey shows when it was added and last used, and Synced if the device syncs it. Before you add or remove a passkey, gigBuddy asks Confirm it’s you: use a passkey (Use a passkey), a code by email (Email me a code) or your linked provider. After that you can add or remove passkeys for the next 5 minutes.
Delete workspace permanently
Shown when you work in your artist profile. It deletes the artist profile and all of its content. You type the exact workspace name and tick the acknowledgement. If it is your last workspace, deleting it also ends your free trial, and the trial cannot be restarted. Download your financial records first.
Delete account
Delete account permanently deletes your gigBuddy account and your personal data. The data you added to a band stays with that band. A wizard (Delete your account) takes you through four steps:
| Step | What it shows |
|---|---|
| What happens | What is deleted: your personal workspace with everything in it, your profile, sign-in methods, availability and preferences. Billing documents are kept for 7 years, and gigBuddy remembers that you used a free trial. You receive a final email. The deletion cannot be undone or stopped once started. |
| Your bands | Appears for each band you own or are the only admin of. Choose who takes the band over (Who takes over …?); that person becomes owner and admin. When a band has no other member that can take over, Invite a member or Delete the band. |
| Billing | States what happens to your subscription: a trial or complimentary subscription ends now; within the withdrawal period the current payment is refunded in full; otherwise the rest of the period is not refunded. |
| Confirm | Type your email address, confirm it is you and choose Delete my account. |
Afterwards you are signed out.
