Album details shows an album's artwork, title, artist, release date, tracks and links. Edit the album, arrange its tracks and, in a band, mark it as part of the discography. Changes save automatically.

Open an album

  1. Open Songs from the side menu.
  2. Select Group by album.
  3. Select the album heading.

On a wide screen the album opens next to the repertoire list; on a phone it replaces the list. Every member can read albums in a band or artist profile. Contributors, Financial admins and Admins can edit them.

ElementWhat it shows or does
Album titleThe name of the selected album.
Back / CloseReturns to the repertoire. The arrow is used on a phone and the cross beside the list.

Album fields

Albums are shared by their songs. Editing an album updates the album information shown for every song attached to it. Create an album or attach a song through the Album field in Song details.

Field or controlWhat it does
TitleThe album title.
ArtistThe album's artist.
Release dateThe album's release date. Type a date or use Open release date picker.
Change or remove album artThe camera button selects a JPEG, PNG or WebP image. With existing art it opens a menu with Change album art and Remove album art. After choosing an image, a crop dialog opens: drag the handles to select the square area to keep, then select Use this crop (or Cancel).
Part of our discographyThe icon beside the title includes or removes the album from the band's discography on its public profile. Available in a band, to Contributor or higher.

Note

Uploading album art needs Contributor or higher and Custom branding, on Band Silver or higher or Artist Gold. Without the subscription feature, the artwork control shows a diamond and an upgrade link.

Tracks

Tracks lists the album's songs with their position, title and duration. Select a title to open that song. To attach or move a song to an album, change its Album in Song details.

Contributor or higher can use Drag to reorder beside a track to move it. The new order saves immediately and is also used in Group by album on Songs.

Album links open in a new tab. Contributor or higher can add and remove them.

  1. Select Add links, or Edit links when links already exist.
  2. Select the + beside Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube or YouTube Music. Use Other for another address.
  3. Paste the album address in URL. For Other, you can also enter a Label.
  4. Select Finished. Enter also saves the row you are editing.

Each platform can have one link. Use delete link in edit mode to remove a saved link or discard a new row. Find links opens Find music links to find album links on other services.

Use OneDrive's embed code

Select Paste embed code and paste it into the link field, or select Save link anyway to keep the share link.
