Offline setlists

Offline setlists keeps selected setlists and their music files on this device so you can read and perform them without a connection. Download while online and check the status before disconnecting.

At a glance

MaterialAvailable offlineNotes
Setlist, ChordPro, PDF and notesYes, after a complete download. The copy reflects your own resources and notes at its last sync.
Uploaded recordingOnly when Download audio recordings is enabled and synced.Uses additional device storage.
Song link or externally hosted chart imageNo.Links need a connection; external chart images become placeholders in downloaded live mode.

Selected downloads

  1. Sign in and open the band while connected.
  2. On Setlists or its editor, select Download for offline use for each setlist you need.
  3. Wait for Available offline.

Selection is the initial download mode. Choosing a setlist while offline queues it until a connection returns. Deselecting stops requesting its download; the next sync removes the local copy. The shared band setlist remains.

Example

Select Club Set and Acoustic Set on your tablet. Only those two lists are wanted on that device in Selection mode. Selecting Club Set on your phone is a separate choice.

All downloads

Set Download mode to All in Setlist and songs. Every setlist of the active band is then wanted and kept up to date while connected. Individual download buttons become status indicators. Your earlier selection is retained if you switch back to Selection.

Example

In All mode, adding a third setlist to the band makes it part of the next sync on this device. Other devices retain their own download mode.

Audio downloads

Turn on Download audio recordings to include the uploaded recording chosen for each song. It starts off. Turning it off removes downloaded recordings from this band on the device immediately, including while offline. It does not remove the charts or PDFs.

Example

A song uses an uploaded MP3 and another uses a Spotify link. Audio downloads can store the MP3; the Spotify link still needs a connection.

Download status

StatusMeaning
Available offlineThe copy and offline startup are ready.
Not downloadedThere is no wanted, ready copy on this device.
Waiting to downloadThe setlist is selected and waiting to download or update.
Downloaded — offline startup isn't ready yetThe setlist data is downloaded but offline startup is not prepared. Open the app while connected.

Read and perform downloaded setlists

  1. In the settings, select Open downloaded setlists, or Open in the offline notice.
  2. In Downloaded setlists, choose a card under its band name.
  3. Select Perform to start live mode, or start from a set.

The library shows each copy’s set/song counts, duration, last sync and completeness. Downloaded details show the sets and your saved notes and sources, but have no editing or source-choice controls. Songs are not links to the online song editor. The downloaded audio player is available when the recording was included.

Use Downloaded setlists to return to the library and, while connected, Back to the app to return to the online app. The downloaded live screen uses the same navigation as Setlist live mode.

Note

Copies belong to the signed-in account, device/browser and band. Logging out or signing in as another account clears offline access and copies. Browsers may also clear downloads when storage is low.

Where you set it

Setlist and songs contains Selection/All, recording downloads, Sync now, Retry and Remove downloads.
