Email selected venues prepares one campaign for selected venues and festivals. Choose a template and address source, review the resolved recipients, then send. The dialog stays open to show the result.

- Select venue or festival checkboxes, then select Email selected.
Contributor or higher, on Band Silver or higher, or Artist Gold. Available in a band and in an artist profile. Without the subscription feature, Email selected shows a diamond and links to upgrade options. Sending needs an internet connection.
Header
The title is Email selected venues. The text below gives the number of selected venues. On a phone it opens full screen.
Before review
An Admin must first configure Resend and a sender in Settings, Integrations. See Band settings (article planned).
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Resend API key | Connects the workspace’s Resend account. Use a Sending access key restricted to a verified sending domain. |
| From name | Required sender name. |
| From email | Required sender address on the verified domain. Resend validates it when sending. |
| Reply-to email (optional) | Optional reply address. If absent, outreach uses the sender address for the unsubscribe contact. |
Choose the template and address source
| Control | Choices and defaults |
|---|---|
| Email template | Shows up to 100 Venue outreach templates, with the first selected. Invoice email templates are not offered. |
| Use the email address of | Primary contact is the initial choice. It uses each venue’s linked primary contact and email. There is no fallback to the venue address. Venue / festival email address uses the address stored on the venue or festival. |
Note
Select at most 250 venues or festivals per campaign.
Review recipients
Select Review recipients. This creates a draft snapshot of the template, sender, subject and recipient values. It does not send email. Template and address-source controls are replaced by the review grid.
| Area | What it shows or does |
|---|---|
| Recipient | Resolved recipient name. |
| Email address | Address that will receive the email. |
| Subject | Subject with the recipient’s merge values filled in. |
| Status | The recipient’s current status, initially pending or skipped. Status words are shown as stored, even in Dutch. |
| Issue | Why a recipient was skipped or failed. |
A missing or invalid email address, or a missing required merge value, skips the recipient. Review every address, subject and issue. If you need another template, address source or corrected data, close the workspace, make the changes and start a new review. The snapshot does not update when the original template is edited.
Send campaign
The button is enabled when at least one recipient is pending. It sends only pending recipients and checks the suppression list at send time. A suppressed address is skipped. Venue outreach has no attachments.
| Recipient status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| pending | Ready to send. |
| skipped | Not sent because its address or required data is missing or invalid, or the address is suppressed. |
| sent | Accepted by the email provider. This does not confirm arrival in the recipient’s inbox. |
| failed | The send attempt failed; read Issue. |
The workspace reports the result and keeps the recipient rows visible. After a result, the send button is no longer shown. Reopening starts a new campaign; review who already received the first one before sending another.
An Admin can review Email activity under Settings, Integrations, Resend, including the Email log and Suppressions. Suppressions prevent venue outreach; they do not block transactional invoice emails.
Actions
| Action | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Review recipients | Before review | Creates the draft and opens recipient review. |
| Send campaign | After review | Sends pending recipients and shows the result. |
| Close | Bottom of the workspace | Closes the workspace and returns to the venue list. Closing before Send campaign does not send the draft. |
